12x10x4.5” Kiln Cast Glass, Electroplated Copper, and Found Object
This series speaks to my childhood experience during the Chilean dictatorship using familiar childhood mementos. I have 3D scanned/printed and kiln cast my original childhood bear in glass, electroplated with copper, while the chair symbolizes stability—or its absence. Through these materials, the piece speaks to the weight of history, the fragility of memory, and the enduring reality of displacement, a theme that remains all too relevant today.
